Holiday Hacks + How to Have a Good Enough Christmas (and LOVE it)

If I put 50 moms in a room, and excitedly said “the holiday season is here ladies” a big portion of the room would suddenly begin a slow, uncomfortable clap, as a look of instant bewilderment washed over them.

The holidays can be STRESSFUL for moms, because they’re usually the magic makers, and being a magic maker is hard work.

Be honest, how much do you genuinely ENJOY the holiday season? If you’re often feeling frazzled Thanksgiving through NYE and are completely depleted on January 1st, this one is for you.

Increase Summer Sales with These Marketing Ideas!

I have a love/hate relationship with summer, as many business owning moms I chat with seem to. On the one hand, our loves are all home for the summer. Days are spent by the pool, you’re a regular at the park, playdates fill your calendar, because everyone is so stinkin’ happy to be able to get out of their houses (here in Chicago everyone is near bonkers by the time spring hits because cooped up kids are not fun). On the other hand, your business still requires as much attention as it did during the school year, when you didn’t have friends tempting you with fun plans constantly and kids complaining about being bored every .o2 seconds. Running a business is rarely easy, but during those difficult seasons, the ones where your norm is flipped upside-down and you need to pivot and regroup just to keep from drowning, running a business can feel like a great burden. It’s time to lighten the load.

Day in the Life of a Momboss with Everwild Photography

If there is one thing that this Day in the Life series has taught me, it is how freaking ridiculously badass us business owning mommas really are. Our days are filled with business and babies so often at the same exact time, and we juggle so much and have so many plates in the air on any given day. Even when it doesn’t feel like it (when it REALLY doesn’t feel like it!), we are accomplishing so much! This month’s writer is no different, a sneak peek into what a typical day looks like for her really shows how much one can accomplish in one day. I met Korinne on Instagram, and so enjoy looking at her beautiful work. It was so fun to get to know her a little more by seeing what a day looks like for her. Go get inspired by Korinne of Everwild Photography!
