Sometimes all you need are some fabulous stock images to spruce up your blog posts and take your marketing to the next level. Because everything feels better when it’s free, I’ve put together a list of my five favorite free stock image sites. Each one allows you to search for your desired type of image, and no attribution is required! Get ready to do some major bookmarking.
1. PlaceIt
PlaceIt makes it SO easy to insert your images into tech gadgets, it almost feels like stealing. Some sites make fitting your images into stock photos an absolute nightmare, but this one automatically rotates your images, so they’re properly aligned, and you can create the perfect image in less than 60 seconds!
2. Pixabay
Any site that mixes business with puppies is a winner in my book. Pixabay has endless amounts of free stock images just waiting for you to add to your library.
3. KaboomPics
I get a lot of my images from KaboomPics; I tend to find more feminine photos on this site!
4. StockSnap
StockSnap has a huge collection of free stock images that are pulled from all different sites, so you may see some duplicates, but you’ll also find tons of new images that work so well, they’ll feel like they were made just for you!
5. Pexels
Pexels offers an enormous variety of images you can use to boost your branding and make your marketing materials stand out.

Confused about the whole “attribution” thing? Here’s the scoop:
Many times, photos you find will require some sort of attribution, meaning the images are covered by the photographer’s copyright. If you see “attribution required” listed by a photo, it means you have to give the photographer credit and source the image.
If an image says “no attribution required,” this means you can use the image without listing its origin. You can typically alter these images, and send them to other people for them to use. Selling the images is one no-no! Typically, the licensing info is listed next to the download button, so just be sure to check that so you know you’re ready to go.
